EE-LLC is a business developed out of the special skills and talents of a widely recognized and respected horse-woman, Polly Sweeney. Polly was born and raised in Rochester, NY where she began riding lessons at the age of 3. These formative years she rode with Roger Young, one of the foremost hunter/jumper trainers on the East Coast. She developed early a great passion for the equestrian sport. At this time she had the good fortune to be included in clinics with the equestrian icon Gordon Wright. Maestro Wright was one of the most influential horsemen of his generation, who among his other accomplishments established the original United States Equestrian Team. Subsequently, Polly interspersed coaching with Jack Frohm and Wayne Carroll through her college years & graduate studies in music. Both Jack and Wayne were also highly respected coaches in the sport.

Polly married and moved to Pasadena, CA where she was introduced to the famous Jimmy Williams, recognized as the greatest equestrian west of the Mississippi. She trained with him at the Flintridge Riding Club for many years winning a number of championships, until she took an extended hiatus to pursue her music career and raise a family.

After 15 years in classical music and child rearing, Polly re-connected with Marcia Williams and her terrific team who brought her back on the circuit again with a great horse, Apparition. This was a true champion over many years and brought Polly into the big leagues. Under Marcia’s training regimen in addition to winning numerous championships, Polly won the coveted PCHA medal challenge. Also during this period, Polly had the good fortune to participate in Master Classes with the great George Morris (the successor to Gordon Wright, who went on to coach the US Equestrian Team to great success in international competitions including the Olympics). She travelled to the famous Lake Placid Horse Show with Coach Morris winning championships there also. It is a great honor to have ridden with him, to know him, and to still ride in his clinics.

After Marcia Williams retired, Polly continued her training with John French and his team at Waldenbrook Farms. John has huge credentials winning national championships almost annually. He is considered to be the best hunter rider in the United States today. With him Polly won many championships and owned some very talented horses. The logistics became difficult as John is located in Northern California so Polly transitioned to train with Archie Cox in the Los Angeles area.

During these years Polly has identified with and trained with some wonderful horses that she was able to sell at a profit. However she had a rather painful experience with one special horse, Heartbreaker, who came up lame while in the hands of a prospective buyer and had to be retired. After that Polly bought Dublin whom she sold for a nice profit, then bought & sold Stay-Tuned, also for a nice gain.

Since 2014 with coach Archie Cox, Polly has been riding her new prospect, Duet, to the West Coast Championship and subsequently to the United States overall championship. She won the coveted WCHR (World Champion Hunter Rider) honor in Washington DC at the Capitol Challenge Horse Show. In the winter shows Duet won again the overall championship at the HITS circuit shows in the desert and followed up winning championships at two AA circuit shows in San Juan Capistrano California... and is on the market now. Polly has another horse, Well-Played, winning successfully on the circuit, who is out with a prospective buyer currently. Malbec is in training.

Over those recent years, Polly began to recognize her ability to establish a discipline of buying young (green) horses and selling them before they peak. She has had considerable success in finding young talented hunters, developing them and then winning with them, and selling them at a higher value.
